10 a.m. - I'm at the appointed place at the appointed time.
The doctor says that my eye seems well healed but still wants the contact left in for one more day for the right eye. She thinks this is prudent, and when I voice my concerns about the amount of fuzziness and double vision in the distance, she explains that I will see a huge difference when the right contact comes out. She says that she has spoken with the surgeon who told her that "yes, there was a scratch from the specula" that he forgot to mention. Okay - it's being looked after, and although the drive in and out daily and my husband is having to take time away from work, I appreciate the care.
More drops and I'm away. I am asked to call first thing and ask to be fit in as per her concerns.
