Up early - no makeup - (yikes, when was the last time I didn't wear makeup?!!) - had a good breakfast (recommended) and off to Ottawa for 8:30. I was given a mild mood settler (Ativan) -good idea...paid the bill and by 9:10 was lying down - Dr. Cheung from Kingston clinic was surgeon today. A couple of struggles, but the procedure was quick and pain free. The staff were excellent, talking me through the whole process.

Off to an exam room for a bit of time (10 minutes or so) and I realize that I can read a pamphlet that is sitting next to me...I'm so happy I feel like crying (but I don't).

Spent the rest of the day resting and administering drops and I'm so happy - this is going to be a cake walk! ......
